Desktop Wallpaper / Ps 101

Design Challenge: Can you create a creative, artistic desktop wallpaper for your computer using Photoshop?

Make a wallpaper (digital art) for a computer desktop. 'Hand in' your work by 'Air Dropping' your single layer .tiff to Lisa (G21) and posting your formatted .jpg to the wiki.

Can you turn a picture of yourself into a Halloween-inspired spectacle?

In this 2-day Halloween hiatus project, you will take a picture of yourself with a digital camera in front of a 'green' screen. Then, using the magic of Photoshop, you will turn yourself into a scary or sweet mythical creature or being. option: You may use a picture of me, if you don't want to use a picture of yourself.

On Halloween Day (Tues.), we will be joining the theater program (A.R.T. technical theater) to learn some special effects makeup techniques. Costumes encouraged!

You will receive a Process Grade for this project.

Color Lab - VisCom A Joe's Class

Design Challenge: How can I use what I know about color to make stronger, better design decisions?

In this Lab we will first test our knowledge of color. Then, we will investigate color by analyzing design work for color schemes, and experiment with paint to explore color mixing, color schemes, and color matching.
